1. Start a small project and build it up.
  2. Establish realistic short term goals and set some targets.
  3. Start with an easy program like recycling, reducing waste or switching off unused appliances/lights.
  4. Have the team ‘green’ leader join, integrate into and share progress with the existing ‘green nephrology’ movements elsewhere: especially the United Kingdom Green Nephrology Program, run by and funded through the NHS – a program which has now developed green dialysis far beyond the Australian green concepts that triggered their interest!
