Don’t try to do too much, too soon

  1. Start a small project and build it up.
  2. Establish realistic short-term goals and set some targets.
  3. Start with an easy program like recycling, reducing waste or switching off unused appliances/lights.
  4. Have the team ‘green’ leader join, integrate into and share progress with the existing ‘green nephrology’ movements elsewhere: especially the United Kingdom Green Nephrology Program, run by and funded through the NHS – a program which has now developed green dialysis far beyond the Australian green concepts that triggered their interest!
