How to Publish
Peer Review Abstracts and Papers
While the usual submission and publication vehicle of peer-reviewed journal manuscripts is clearly important, the sustainability space is also well-suited to ‘coal-face’ work, to case studies, and to work conducted at a meeting abstract level, too.
The two main annual nephrology scientific meetings in Australia, the ANZSN ASM (medical) in September , and the RSA ASM (nursing) in July, now offer annual prizes (see Prizes Page) – each with a monetary value. You are encouraged to enter your abstracts.
Other countries and other nephrology bodies are encouraged to follow suit.
Case studies
The UK Green Nephrology website has proven an effective enabler for small but valuable case study reports … a possible model for this website to follow.
No idea is too small. All projects matter.
Social media
Finally, there is the Greendialysis FaceBook page where anyone with a good green idea that has some relevance to sustainability – especially in the nephro-dialysis space – can post, can exchange ideas, and can use social media to promote discussion and the sharing of projects.
