Website debut at Melbourne conferenceAugust 21 2014
Green Dialysis unveiled its new-look website at the 2014 Annual Scientific Meeting of the Australian and New Zealand Society of Nephrology and the Renal Society of Australasia Annual Conference in Melbourne in August, 2014.
The culmination of months of research, planning, designing and writing, our new website is Green Dialysis’s flagship and clearly spells out our charter to reduce the environmental toll of dialysis treatment while striving to create sustainable dialysis practices across the globe. There could have hardly been a more pertinent time or place to unveil our new website than before a global audience at the Melbourne conference.
If you’re reading this blog it’s because you’re visiting our new website. Spare a few minutes and examine its contents. You’ll discover how Green Dialysis can benefit home dialysis patients and healthcare professionals around the world while also helping the environment through re-using or recycling water and plastic waste, exploring options for renewable energy and reducing the carbon footprint of dialysis. If you’d like to know more, make sure you get in touch with us.
The Melbourne conference was the highlight of Renal Week, which acknowledged the jubilee of ANZSN’s scientific meeting and celebrated 50 years advancing care in kidney disease, and included RSA’s annual conference, which had the theme: Renal healthcare: everyone’s business.
At Green Dialysis we thank the conference organisers for their support and for the opportunity to unveil our new website and we look forward to working with conference participants in our goal for sustainable dialysis practices around the world.
